Cand vad asta parca imi piere frica.

Leha dodi likrat cala, pnei Shabat nekabela
XV. A locuit in Salonic ,iar apoi in Tzfat (Israel).
A activat in Tzfat, in timpul lui Rabi Iosef Karro.
"...Rabi Hanina a zis: Sa iesim in intampinarea Reginei Shabat (Shabat haMalKa)...
Rabi Ianai a zis: Vino mireaso, vino mireaso (boi cala, boi cala)".
Dupa traditie, sinagoga kabalistilor se afla in camp deschis, in afara orasului, iar cand mergeau vineri seara spre sinagoga spuneau "likrat Shabat lehu venileha" (spre Shabat sa mergem).

Charles Aznavour - Les Deux Guitares
Charles Aznavour 1972 Deux tziganes
Charles Aznavour - Les Deux Guitares - Live in Concert 2004
Versurile
Deux tziganes sans répit
Grattent leur guitare
Ranimant du fond des nuits
Toute ma mémoire
Sans savoir que roule en moi
Un flot de détresse
Font renaître sous leurs doigts
Ma folle jeunesse
Ekh raz yechtcho raz yechtcho mnogo mnogo raz
Ekh raz yechtcho raz yechtcho mnogo mnogo raz
Jouez tziganes jouez pour moi
Avec plus de flamme
Afin de couvrir la voix
Qui dit à mon âme
Où as-tu mal, pourquoi as-tu mal ?
Ah t'as mal à la tête
Ekh raz yechtcho raz yechtcho mnogo mnogo raz
Ekh raz yechtcho raz yechtcho mnogo mnogo raz
Je veux rire et chanter
Et soûler ma peine
Pour oublier le passé
Qu'avec moi je traîne
Apportez-moi du vin fort
Car le vin délivre
Oh versez, versez-m'en encore
Pour que je m'enivre
Ekh raz yechtcho raz yechtcho mnogo mnogo raz
Ekh raz yechtcho raz yechtcho mnogo mnogo raz
Deux guitares en ma pensée
Jettent un trouble immense
M'expliquant la vanité
De notre existence
Que vivons-nous, pourquoi vivons-nous ?
Quelle est la raison d'être ?
Tu es vivant aujourd'hui, tu seras mort demain
Et encore plus après-demain
Ekh raz yechtcho raz yechtcho mnogo mnogo raz
Ekh raz yechtcho raz yechtcho mnogo mnogo raz
Quand je serai ivre-mort
Faible et lamentable
Et que vous verrez mon corps
Rouler sous la table
Alors vous pourrez cesser
Vos chants qui résonnent
En attendant jouez
Jouez je m'abandonne
Ekh raz yechtcho raz yechtcho mnogo mnogo raz
Ekh raz yechtcho raz yechtcho mnogo mnogo raz

J.S. Bach - Ich habe genug BWV 82
"Ich habe genug" | |
| 1. Aria B I have enough, I have taken the Savior, the hope of the righteous, into my eager arms; I have enough! I have beheld Him, my faith has pressed Jesus to my heart; now I wish, even today with joy to depart from here. |
| 2. Rezitativ B Ich habe genug. | 2. Recitative B I have enough. My comfort is this alone, that Jesus might be mine and I His own. In faith I hold Him, there I see, along with Simeon, already the joy of the other life. Let us go with this man! Ah! if only the Lord might rescue me from the chains of my body; Ah! were only my departure here, with joy I would say, world, to you: I have enough. |
| 3. Aria B Fall asleep, you weary eyes, close softly and pleasantly! World, I will not remain here any longer, I own no part of you that could matter to my soul. Here I must build up misery, but there, there I will see sweet peace, quiet rest. |
| 4. Recitative B My God! When will the lovely 'now!' come, when I will journey into peace and into the cool soil of earth, and there, near You, rest in Your lap? My farewells are made, world, good night! |
| 5. Aria B I delight in my death, ah, if it were only present already! Then I will emerge from all the suffering that still binds me to the world. |

J.S. Bach - Ein feste Burg ist unser Gott BWV 80
"Ein feste Burg ist unser Gott" | |
Chorus Our God is a secure fortress, a good shield and weapon; He helps us willingly out of all troubles, that now have encountered us. The old, evil enemy is earnestly bent on it, great strength and much deceit are his horrid armaments, there is nothing like him on earth. |
Aria B and Chorale S Everything that is born of God is destined for victory. Nothing can be done through our strength, we are soon already lost. The righteous Man battles for us, that God himself has elected. Whoever, with the bloody banner of Christ is sworn into the fealty of baptism, conquers in the spirit again and again. You ask, who is He? He is called Jesus Christ, the Lord of Sabaoth, and there is no other God, He must control the battlefield. Everything that is born of God is destined for victory. |
| 3. Recitative B Only consider, child of God, that such great love, which Jesus Himself with His blood signed over to you, through which He, in the war against Satan's host and against the world and sin, has won you! Do not make a place in your soul for Satan and depravity! Do not let your heart, God's heaven on earth, become a wasteland! Repent your guilt with pain, so that Christ's spirit may firmly bind itself to you! |
| 4. Arie S Komm in mein Herzenshaus, Herr Jesu, mein Verlangen! | 4. Aria S Come into my heart's house, Lord Jesus, my desire! Drive the world and Satan out and let your image, shine forth renewed in me! Away, comtemptible horror of sin! |
Chorale And if the world were full of the devil and would devour us, even then we would not be so fearful, we should even then succeed. The prince of this world, however sour he might be, yet can do nothing to us, since he is already judged, a little word can topple him. |
| 6. Recitative T Then stand with Christ's bloodstained flag, o soul, firmly and believe that you will not lose your Leader, indeed, that His victory will also pave the way to your crown! March joyfully to war! If you only keep God's word as you hear it, then the enemy will be driven out forcibly, your Savior remains your treasure! |
| 7. Aria (Duet) A T How happy are they, who bear God in their mouths, yet happier is the heart that bear Him in faith! It remains unconquered and can strike at the enemy and will be crowned at last, when it captures death. |
Chorale They shall put His word aside and give no thanks for it. He is with us indeed in strategy with His spirit and His gifts. If they take our bodies from us, possessions, honor, child, wife, let them take them away, they have no spoils; our riches yet remain with us. |
